Police in Eastbourne are investigating two recent burglaries in the town which they believe may be linked.

The first took place between December 15 and December 19 in Lamont Court, Wilmington Square. The burglars got in through a window and searched the place, but don’t appear to have stolen anything,

The second happened during the evening of Friday, December 18 in Park Gates, Chiswick Place. Again a window was used to gain entry and on this occasion a jacket and wallet were stolen.

Detective Constable Costin Bonell said, “If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious at either location, I’d urge them to get in touch with police.”

Email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1553 of 18/12 for the Lamont Court incident or 105 of 19/12 for the Chiswick Place burglary.
