Police donated £250 to Gina Leonard, of the Leaf Hall Trust in Seaside, to help install a new CCTV system at the venue.

Police say the new system will benefit the volunteers, police, visitors to the hall, local businesses and the community in general.

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, which is made up of the profits from selling property confiscated by order of the court.

Police Community Support Officer Rob Chrystie said, “I am delighted to present this cheque to Leaf Hall. They offer so many activities to Eastbourne residents and are decent, sincere people who want to see the Seaside area thrive.”
