Phil Masters, chairman of Radio DGH, said, “As a registered charity, any source of funding means a lot to us and we are, therefore, very grateful for this generous donation. It will go towards improving the quality of our output so we can continue our mission to provide music and conversation to inform, entertain, support and comfort the hospital’s patients.

“This year marks the 65th anniversary of hospital radio in Eastbourne and 40 of them as Radio DGH and it is our intention to do it bigger, better and for at least the same again.”
