Police believe missing Japanese man may be in Eastbourne

Police are looking for a man who is believed to be in the Eastbourne area after going missing from his London hotel.

Naoki Kenjo, 28, travelled from Japan to the UK arriving on November 15. He booked in to the Strand Palace Hotel London hotel for two nights and was last seen by staff on November 17, said Sussex Police.

Police said he is of south east Asian appearance, with short black hair and was believed to have been wearing a dark poncho style jacket and jeans.

PC Lisa Cousins said, “We are concerned for the welfare of Naoki. A man matching his description may have been seen in a bar restaurant in Eastbourne at 2.20pm on Monday (November 20).

“If anyone sees him please contact police immediately.”
