Police arrest Seaford man after claw hammer incident

Police looking for a suspect seen visiting pubs and off-licences in Seaford while making threats and carrying a claw hammer revealed today (December 16) that they have arrested a man.

A 36-year-old from Seaford was arrested on Friday (December 11) on suspicion of affray following the incident at the Cinque Ports pub in Seaford on December 4.

The man has been questioned and bailed until January 7.

Sergeant Stuart Mullins said, “We put out a number of appeal to locate this man and we are grateful for the response from the public which eventually helped us locate a suspect.”
