Police appeal after statue stolen in Seaford

Police in Seaford are appealing for information after a garden statue was stolen from a garden in Cricketfield Road.

The statue, which is white in colour and approximately three feet high, was taken sometime between midday on November 17 and 3pm on November 18.

It depicts a boy and a girl standing on a plinth.

A police spokesman said, “This is a bulky object and if anybody has seen anything suspicious or someone carrying a similar object can they please call us.

“It follows a report of the theft of some garden furniture from a town centre garden and we are warning people with similar items in their gardens to be on their guard.”
