Police appeal after people hit by eggs in Eastbourne

Police are appealing for witnesses after a person was left with bruising after being hit on the arm by an egg from a moving car.

Two incidents happened between 8.45pm and 8.50pm on Tuesday June 25.

The first one happened near to the fire station in Whitley Road when an egg was thrown from a blue convertible.

The second incident happened on Brassey Avenue and this time the victim was hit on the collarbone. This car was described as black and travelling very fast.

Anyone with information or who saw these eggs being thrown from the cars are asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 1633 of 25/6. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
