Police appeal after man attacked in Hailsham coffee shop

A man was grabbed round the neck by a stranger in a Hailsham coffee shop.

The attack took place in Costa Coffee, in the town’s High Street, on April 1 at 5.15pm.

The 45-year-old victim was by the service counter when the attacker grabbed him, damaging his clothes.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged 35-40.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1200 of 1/4.
