Police appeal after attack on cyclist


Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was left with a cut head after being attacked.

The 62-year-old victim was in Lottbridge Drove near Tesco at about 9pm on Saturday November 2 when he was punched by a pedestrian.

The cyclist fell off his bike and suffered a cut head and bruised ribs.

PC Luke Brown said, “This was an unprovoked assault on a man who was just on his way home.

“I’m keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who saw a man walking in Lottbridge Drove at about the time of the attack.”
