Pier owner's latest painting plans
The controversial owner of Eastbourne Pier has asked for planning permission to paint more of the iconic landmark in gold.
Sheikh Abid Gulzar has applied to Eastbourne council to paint the remaining two domes in the middle of the pier in a gold colour to match the existing 13 domes.
Mr Gulzar fell foul of planning laws last year after painting the domes gold without the relevant permission from the authorities.
He was later given retrospective permission but warned to ask for approval for any further renovations.
The latest planning application also asks for permission to paint the flat roof on the entrance mall with a neutral white weather proof sealant paint.
