Hundreds of Santas took part in this year’s annual Fun Run along the seafront in Eastbourne on Sunday morning.
Despite the cold, wet and windy weather, there was a record of more than 450 participants at the event, organised by Eastbourne’s Steve Saunders for MyAware, the Myasthenia Gravis Association charity, which provides support for those suffering with the muscle weakening condition.
Eastbourne’s deputy mayor Jim Murray judged the best dressed Santa competition and the Pentacle Drummers provided their usual rousing support for the event.
