Eastbourne Photographic Society is hosting the Ross Cup on behalf of Kent County Photographic Association at the Winter Garden on October 17.
It is thought to be a prestigious event in the photography world, where more than 250 prints from clubs over Sussex, Kent and South London will be on display. The winners will be announced on the day.
The event costs £5 including a programme and cup of tea or coffee. It will be held in the Gold Room in Compton Street.
Doors open 12.30pm for viewing with judges’ comments and results at 2pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend and see the work on display. The photographic society is expecting to welcome people to Eastbourne, from all around Kent and Sussex.

Organisers of the event hope to raise money for Eastbourne Blind Society. Twenty five per cent of any profit raised will be donated and there will also be a raffle.
