A EASTBOURNE has won a top photography award.
Photographer Duncan Lawson has scooped the national Lighting Design Photography Award in its inaugural year.
The 41-year-old Langney man picked up the award at a glittering awards ceremony at The Hilton Hotel, London, in front of 700 leading lighting designers, architects and people from the lighting industry.
Duncan won with his architectural photos of the Golden Jubilee Bridge, London, and steps at La Defense, Paris. The highly-respected judges said that there was ‘tough competition’ and ‘immense creativity’ within the entries. Duncan said “I’m delighted to have won, particularly with it being the inaugural year of the award.”
