PGL centre assault: man goes to court

A man has appeared in court accused of child sex assault charges.

Peter Donoghue was arrested in May following an alleged incident at a PGL educational centre at Windmill Hill, Herstmoncuex.

Fifty-two-year-old Donoghue, of Avery Hill Road, Lee, is a teacher at a school in Eltham.

He was charged earlier this month by Sussex Police with two counts of sexual assault by touching. The charges relate to two young boys who were at the centre.

Donoghue appeared before Eastbourne magistrates on Friday.

He was granted conditional bail until a further hearing on January 2 at the same court.

The two boys were on holiday from a London School at the time of the alleged offences.
