Perfume stolen from Seaford pharmacy

Police are appealing for witnesses after burglars broke into a Seaford pharmacy and stole thousands of pounds worth of perfume.

Two men were seen to smash a hole in the window of L Cameron and Son in Broad Street before one climbed in and handed out items to the other.

The break-in happened at about 3.50am yesterday (Wednesday August 14).

The pair later left towards Croft Lane with a quantity of perfume by Chanel, Gucci and Dolce and Gabbana worth an estimated £6,000.

The men were wearing dark clothing and hoodies.

A police spokesman said, “We are not only appealing for any witnesses to the offence but to anyone who is offered any bottles of expensive perfume or fragrance at a low price, or knows of anyone who has suddenly acquired these sort of items.”

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting serial 141 of 14 August of the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
