Prizes for young writers at Bede’s
This year’s Bede’s writers’ competition centred on the theme of ‘beauty’. The judges awarded Jack White, Will Quibell and Milly Gibson in the junior category, while Sam Bickersteth, Maddy Goodman and Eliane Boyer were honoured in the senior category.
Milly and Eliane were announced overall winners.
Many of this year’s writers’ competition entries will be collated for the annual publication of Small Island, Bede’s creative writing and art journal, which will be published later this year.
