More than a year after the service in Langney Shopping Centre closed, it has been revealed a new Post Office is coming soon.

In a post on social media, the shopping centre in Kingfisher Drive said, “It’s OFFICIAL! A Post Office is coming soon to Langney Shopping Centre.”

An opening date for the new service is yet to be confirmed, the shopping centre said.

The previous Post Office in Martins Newsagents closed on January 12, 2019.

It was a sad day for Langney as loyal customers and staff said goodbye to the service.

The Post Office maintained it was a temporary closure as it looked for a new location.

It has not been announced exactly where in the shopping centre the Post Office will be.

This comes after Barclays announced it plans to close its branch in Langney Shopping Centre on May 7 this year.
