A new pocked-sized book on the history of Eastbourne has been published by historian and author Kevin Gordon.
Eastbourne History Tour guides readers around the town’s well known streets and buildings, showing how its famous landmarks used to look and how they have changed over the years.
The book also explores its lesser-known sights and hidden corners and with the help of a handy location map, readers can follow a timeline of events and discover the changing face of Eastbourne.
The book is published by Amberley and is 96 pages with 50 illustrations.
It is available in bookshops priced at £7.99.
Kevin is a retired police officer who has a lifelong interest in Sussex history and is the author of several Eastbourne and Seaford history books. He is a trustee of Seaford Museum and chairman of the Alfriston and Cuckmere Valley Historic Society.
