Medi Tech donates more than 2,000 PPE masks to East Sussex Hearing
Eastbourne charity Medi Tech has come to the aid of East Sussex Hearing by donating PPE.
Medi Tech and East Sussex Hearing are both Eastbourne based charities.
Medi Tech has made a real difference to East Sussex Hearing by donating more than 2,000 PPE masks and aprons to the county-wide organisation.
David Rowan, CEO at East Sussex Hearing, said: “We are so grateful for the generous donation from Medi Tech.
“It demonstrates the importance of inter charity co-operation during these difficult times.
“The PPE will enable our most crucial outreach work to continue serving the deaf and those with hearing difficulties.”
Medi Tech were only too willing to help when they found out essential PPE was needed to help maintain hearing services to the residents of East Sussex throughout the Covid-19 crisis.
Bob Lewis, Medi Tech trust co-chairman, said it was important everybody pulled together in these difficult times and explained Med Tech had done all it could to help provide PPE to those who need it.
He said: “Throughout this pandemic the Medi Tech Trust has concentrated its efforts on donating PPE to NHS staff, care workers and vulnerable people. When we learnt of East Sussex Hearing’s urgent need for masks and aprons we were more than happy to help.”
