Huge weight-loss has been ‘life-changing’ for Eastbourne woman

An Eastbourne woman is celebrating a dramatic weight loss and is now in with a chance of winning a £3,000 cash prize.

Jenny Fenner-Hudson, who is a member of the St Barnabas Slimming World group, has lost a life-changing 8.5st to take the title of Langney’s Biggest Loser, which is awarded to the member who has lost the most weight.

Jenny, who’s gone from 20 stone 5lbs to 11 stone 12lbs, is finding life less of a struggle after the loss and is enjoying a dramatic improvement in her health.

She said, “I’m proud of being a loser when it feels this good I feel like a new woman since losing weight – in fact, I look so different that people who I haven’t seen for a while often can’t believe I’m the same person.

“I have to say though, it’s the change on the inside that’s been the greatest – I’m happier, healthier and much more confident now.”

The proud community nurse joined the Langney group, which is run by Becky Hobbs-Smeath in 2017. Jenny will go forward to the national Slimming World competition to win £3,000.
