Eastbourne swimming pool announces reopening date

The gala pool in the Sovereign Centre will be open for business from Tuesday, September 1.

A number of social distancing and safety measures will be in place at the popular pool.

In an email to members, The Sovereign Centre said there will be no booking system in place and all use will be on a first-come first-served basis.

A timetable and information on capacities will be sent out closer to the reopening, the email said.

With the gym and swimming pools reopening, the Sovereign Centre said it will be restarting all memberships from September 1.

Anyone who does not feel comfortable returning their membership is asked to email [email protected]
