Following the Eastbourne and Hailsham Herald’s recent Care Home of The Year competition, we are pleased to announce the results.

Our top three care homes are :

Winner: Sovereign Lodge, 2 Carew Road, Eastbourne.

Second place: Sunrise Senior Living, 6 Upper Kings Drive, Eastbourne.

Third place: Woodside Hall, A22 Polegate Road, Hailsham.

The remaining care homes out of the Top 10 finalists came in the following order:

Fourth: Greensleeves, 11 Friday Street, Eastbourne.

Eighth: The Emilie Galloway Home Of Rest, 8-10 Silverdale Road, Eastbourne.

Ninth: Beechwood Grove, 44-48 East Dean Road, Eastbourne.

Tenth: Little Acorns, 43 Silverdale Road, Eastbourne
