Causeway School in Eastbourne said it is ‘immensely proud’ of its students who received their GCSE results yesterday (August 20).

Head of School Sarah Speedie said Year 11s worked ‘tirelessly’ towards their GCSEs.

“The results are testament to their hard work, perseverance and drive over many years,” she said.

“We are extremely proud of them and everything they have achieved.

“I would also like to thank our parents and dedicated staff for their continued commitment throughout this time.”

Among the students who have been praised for achieving top grades include Imogen Harmer, Alfie Carr, Mason Peters and Kai Van Wyk.

The school in Larkspur Drive is also celebrating students who have made significant progress, including Leonie Colerio-Swain and Anna Green.

A spokesperson said, “Congratulations again to all our students and we wish you the best of luck with all your future ventures.”
