Air ambulance lands in field in Eastbourne

An air ambulance was called to Eastbourne last night (May 27) after reports of a medical emergency.

The helicopter landed in a field near the Sovereign Centre and was pictured between 9pm and 9.30pm by members of the public.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said, “We received a call at 8.40pm for a medical emergency to a private address so unfortunately we are unable to provide further information.”

According to reports, the incident was in nearby Mountbatten Drive.
