Pedestrian killed after being hit by car in Seaford is named

The woman who died after being knocked down on the A259 Buckle By-pass in Seaford last week has been named as 83-year-old Toni Rolls.

She lived in South Coast Road, Telscombe Cliffs.

She was struck by a black Ford Fiesta when she tried to cross the A259 at 5.20pm on Wednesday November 20 after getting off a bus.

She was treated by paramedics at the scene but died. The 36-year-old driver of the Fiesta, from Seaford, was not hurt.
