A PENSIONER has scooped a fabulous new television in a competition run by an Eastbourne taxi firm.

Pat Hogg, 76, from Fountains Close, was the lucky winner of a prize draw by 720 Taxis.

Mrs Hogg said she was delighted with her prize as she had never owned a TV before and only watched a 21” rented one.

She also said she felt that 42” was a little too big for her flat so it was agreed she should have a smaller 32” television instead.

The television was supplied by Mike Davis, of Davis TV of Church Street, and presented by Barry Morris, chairman of 720 Taxis.

It was a double celebration for Mrs Hogg who was 76 just the day before the presentation.
