Our police on TV

THE CrimewatchRoadshow team has been in Alfriston this week to highlight the work of Sussex Police.

Police dogs sniffing out explosives, first-hand interviews with victims and reconstructions of unsolved crimes are also some of the things viewers will see.

From Monday until today (Wednesday) from 9.15am, the BBC show will broadcast live appeals specific to Sussex from Alfriston, police headquarters in Lewes and Brighton seafront – together with special films highlighting the many facets of Sussex Police’s work.

A police spokeswoman said, “We welcome CrimewatchRoadshow in gaining a close-up of how we serve the community of Sussex. We hope that this will give viewers a real insight into the challenges we face day-to-day in policing such a diverse area.”
