Open letter to Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne:

In the light of recent comments made by the Chief Constable of West Midlands Dave Thompson, two of the biggest forces in the country, when are you and Chief Constable Giles York going to finally be honest with the public of Sussex and respond similarly?

Please stop continuing the pretence that all is fine with policing in Sussex when it clearly is not.

The Force needs a massive increase in police numbers.

You and Giles need to be making your case for this to happen.

Your 200 by 2022 is but a drop in the ocean when the Force has lost over 660 officers since 2010.

Start telling it as it really is please!
