People’s decisions to shop in Eastbourne are mainly based on convenience, so please don’t take away more parking

Whilst I applaud a further effort to attract people into town we need to balance it against taking away more parking.

I know the desire is increased access via public transport but I have to say that realistically people’s decisions to shop in the town centre are mainly based on convenience rather than high minded ethical reasons.

Since moving office out of the town centre several months ago I have not been into the town centre.
