A tongue in cheek rumour about Eastbourne’s roads

It’s rumoured the council has asked the Army if they would like to use Eastbourne’s roads as tank-testing tracks.

The Army declined, saying the roads were far too bumpy and they were worried their tanks might get lost in some of the potholes.
