Potholes danger to vehicles on road to Eastbourne supermarket

Reports have been made to the councils regarding the huge potholes in the entrance road to the car park of Waitrose Eastbourne, which is a public highway.

These potholes are getting larger and as such making it very difficult to avoid them, so much so that I’m sure customers will soon be unable to get through to the car park.

Also I’m sure cars will get damaged and they will make claims to the council for the repairs! These potholes have been like this for six months or more. Waitrose has contacted the council but nothing has been done.

So these potholes are a danger to vehicles and also to those customers going into the pub. The public do walk along this dodgy dangerous road.

So what and when will the council take action to repair this road, which is their responsibility and not that of Waitrose? I wait in anticipation.
