Crowdfunding campaign for Eastbourne Bandstand?

Having been at Eastbourne College in the 1950s and I have been back to the town every year since for either a weekend break or a College function.

Last July i wrote to Mr Tutt, Leader of Eastbourne Borough Council regarding the filthy state of the town. Still waiting for a response.

He is very good at blaming other people for not doing things in the town.

If the council is short of cash to restore the Bandstand to its former glory, has he ever considered a crowdfunding exercise from local businesses and local residents?

This would certainly help the shortfall.

Those who contribute will have their names put onto a board and placed within the Bandstand area.

Stop moaning Mr Tutt and get on with the job before it is too late or do you want to go down in history as a failure?
