I am looking forward to having a good chuckle when reading some moaning “Letters to the Editor” regarding the proposed changes to rubbish collections in Eastbourne.

We are a family of six, plus two cats, living in Polegate (Wealden District Council) and have managed happily for years on fortnightly collections.

We just have standard size waste and recycling bins and never suffer from them overflowing.

Come on Eastbourne, move with the times!
