A life changing year with the coronavirus lockdowns
From: Carol StanleyWestfield Road, Eastbourne
It was not panic, just a sense of life changing in a way never experienced before. It took a while to get my head round the new way of living, shopping and isolating.
I missed our church services dreadfully, especially not being able to take Holy Communion.
Also I was a hospital chaplain visitor at the DGH and we could no longer go on the wards or enter the hospital.
I still miss that a lot.
Not seeing friends and family has taken its toll too, I think it will take a while to adjust again to more freedom!
