LETTER: Roll-up '“ bowls club is open

Firstly thank you for publishing the fact that our club is not closing.

We did, however, notice that in your Letters page on the same day [February 19] someone had written about the bowls greens. May we be allowed to state through Letters the following?

There has been, and still is, speculation that Royal Sovereign Bowls Club at Princes Park is closing. This is not the case. We will be open and playing for the new season 2016. There will be an Open Day on April 30 from 10am at the clubhouse for anyone who may be interested to come along and meet us and even “have a go” at playing. New members are always made welcome in our small and friendly club.
