LETTER: Relocation of the bus stops
I have been reading about the relocation of the bus stops from Terminus Road during the redevelopment of the Arndale Centre.
It occurred to me that a possible solution might be to utilise the space behind the Tourist Information Centre, currently used as a car park. I believe its called Hyde Gardens and is largely business premises rather than residential.
There is vehicular access at either end and public toilets are close by. I think it would be an excellent temporary solution if not permanent. What do you think ?
