LETTER: No offence was intended

An apology on behalf of Polegate Community Association Drama Group. I have been made aware that our poster advertising our comedy '˜Kindly Keep It Covered,' which shows a man in an open raincoat from behind may have offended some people.

The large posters have been taken down and replaced. The play ‘Kindly Keep It Covered’ at the Polegate Community Centre from May 4 to 7 is a family comedy.

The Kindly Mutual Insurance Company is the reference to keeping covered, and relates to an insurance claim.

There is a double entendre regarding a man in a raincoat keeping it covered. The action and dialogue is family-friendly and I encourage everyone to come and have an evening of laughter. Please accept our apology to anyone offended.
