LETTER: Garden glory for 90-year-olds

Since 1927 the National Garden Scheme has been inviting an army of garden owners to open their exceptional gardens to the public for good causes.

Over 90 years, we’ve established a human chain to help make sure those on the front line of the charities we support get the funding they need.

We believe that many hands make light work – in our case, lots of individual acts of generosity add up to make a huge difference.

Since 1927 more than £50 million has been donated to nursing charities.

We want to celebrate our 90th birthday with a bang. To help us do that, we are looking to extend an invitation to Sussex readers who also celebrate their 90th birthday in 2017.

If you would like to be considered and join us for tea and cake in a stunning Sussex garden, please write, either to National Garden Scheme 90th Birthday, 4 Marine Drive, Seaford , BN25 2RS or email [email protected] before March 31. Please provide your date of birth, address and telephone number and why you would like to join us.
