LETTER: Arndale needs a new name

It is good news that the final go-ahead has been given to the redevelopment of the Arndale Centre by Greg Clark, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. But is now time to consider a new name for the Arndale.

To start the process I would like to suggest it is called the Cavendish Mall or Devonshire Mall. How about The Cavendish and Gilbert Centre? To keep the royal connection how about the King Edward Vll Centre. What do readers think?
