This week we will be holding the final drop in session of the summer. This will be taking place at Bexhill library on Thursday 25 August at 10am. We hope that if you are in the area you will be able to pop in and have a chat with the community team.
The sessions, which have been taking place in Eastbourne, Bexhill and Crowborough libraries over the last three months, seem to have been received well – thank you to everybody who has come by. Some sessions were quieter than others but we have engaged with several families and single people and were able to chat about the service we provide.
One thing the sessions have brought home is that although we have increased awareness of our services across East Sussex, there are still a lot of areas and people who are not aware of us. We really need to work hard to reach those people and ask every person who has heard of us and the work that we do, to please tell just one more person about us.
We do hope to continue to offer the drop in sessions and will make sure to keep you informed of any further developments.
