It may only be March, but at Chestnut Tree House we are already starting to think about one of the busiest weeks in our calendar – Children’s Hospice Week.
The national awareness-raising week is being held from June 13-20. Children’s Hospice Week is organised by national charity Together for Short Lives, and is the UK’s only charity week for children with life-limiting conditions and the services that support them.
You will be able to follow all the activity going on throughout the week on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
This year, we are asking you to be a hero for Chestnut Tree House!
June 20 is Hero Friday, and you can get involved by dressing up and raising funds for. Who is your hero? Someone famous? A sports personality or a pop star? Or is it someone who has touched your life, like a parent, or a nurse?
Register your interest today on our website, www.chestnut-tree-house.org.uk
Children’s Hospice Week is very important to us because it’s a chance for us to get our message out not only to families we may be able to help, but also to the people and businesses across Sussex who might want to support our work.
