One person had to be cut free from a vehicle by firefighters last night (Thursday, October 22) after a serious crash in Seaford.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Blatchington Hill at around 9pm.
Two appliances from Newhaven and Seaford and one officer were mobilised to the scene.
The incident, which involved two private vehicles, required firefighters to use a winch and a StabFast to stabilise one of the vehicles, while hydraulic cutting equipment was used to release on trapped person.
The injured person was left in the care of paramedics and fire crews left the scene at 11:55pm after making the area safe using environmental pack.
