A NIGHT BUS carrying late-night revellers from Brighton back to Eastbourne will be rolled out in April.
The double-decker, run by Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company, will leave Brighton at 3am on April 22 on its maiden voyage, dropping people off throughout town.
The number 12 will travel along the A259 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, passing through Seaford and arriving at Eastbourne at 4am.
The N12 will stop at the Arndale Centre, Seaside, Lottbridge Drove, Hampden Park Station and the Eastbourne District General Hospital. The journey will cost £5 for a single ticket.
Operations director Mike Best said evening buses between the two towns were always popular with students in the summer and he believes a late-night service will be just as well used, but that the long-term future of the N12 would depend on its popularity.
