Residents in Eastbourne are being urged to recycle their waste as normal.
A new Joint Waste Contract began in Eastbourne in April overseen by waste collection firm Kier.
From the third week in July, there will be changes to the way homeowners recycle waste.
However, Eastbourne Borough Council is keen to point out that for now, there will be no changes to the current waste collection arrangements and residents should continue to recycle as they have done.
In the coming weeks, all residents will be receiving letters and guides explaining exactly what will be changing.
A team of advisors will also be visiting homes to answer any questions.
New bins will be delivered in time for the changes in July.
Anyone with any questions about waste and recycling can contact the council on 01323 410000 or email email@example.com
