A NEW choir modelled on the Military Wives and the Choir That Rocks is to start up in Eastbourne.
The first meeting is on Thursday, July 12, and the group will be called Voices.
Diane Terry, a professional singer and actress with West End stage, TV and film performances on her CV, says it will provide something for everyone.
Diane moved to Sussex 18 months ago and said she was immediately aware of a strong musical presence in the area.
Diane said she has led several choirs at her previous Surrey base and felt that a new choir would prove popular here.
Anyone is welcome to join the choir.
There are no auditions, no need to be able to read music, and no previous experience required.
The first meeting is at Pevensey Bay Baptist Church, Eastbourne Road, Pevensey Bay, and meetings are from 7pm to 9pm.
The fee is £4 per session.
