A special thanksgiving service in memory of murdered Eastbourne MP Ian Gow was held in Westminster yesterday (Thursday October 15).
Friends and family attended the service highlighting the life and work of Mr Gow who was assassinated by an IRA bomb on July 30 1990.
The special service was held at the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft in the Palace of Westminster.
Several notable figures have paid tribute to Mr Gow after attending the service.
Former Conservative MP Ian Twinn said, “Marvellous service of thanksgiving for Ian Gow 25 years after his murder by IRA – friendship, thoughtfulness, loyalty and service to UK.”
