A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision on a Willingdon road this morning (Thursday, March 9).
Emergency services were called to the scene involving a Vauxhall Zafira car and a Honda 125cc motorcycle on the A2270 near The Triangle in Willingdon around 8.20am, according to Sussex Police.
The male motorcyclist was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton as a matter of priority, according to an ambulance spokesperson.
Police said the car driver was unhurt.
The road was blocked while the incident was dealt with, re-opening shortly after 9.30am.
