Strong winds

Ater yesterday’s rain, things are looking a little brighter today.

The Met office says it’s going to be a reasonably bright day with variable amounts of cloud, and windy, especially along the coast with gales possible later, especially over headlands. The odd light shower is possible at times, mainly in the north and west. Maximum Temperature 21°C.

On the roads there are no reported incidents at this time although roadworks are causing some problems.

There is a temporary road closure in Old Wish Road for water works with diversions and gas mains replacement on the A259 Seaside Road.

A new water connection in Lottbridge Drive means there is a diverson for motorists along The Hydneye, Sackville Road and Kingston Road.
