A lack of visibility has kept planes grounded during the first few hours of Airbourne.
The 20th annual showcase was set to get underway at 12.30pm with a 15 minute slot from the Royal Navy Raiders Parachute Display Team, but foggy conditions meant the fun still had not going go by 2pm.
The Jet Provost T5, the Tucano T1, the King Air B200, the Patrouille Reva, Tutor T1 and T-6 Texan all had their flights delayed by the weather, with organisers hoping for a brighter rest of the day.
Scheduled and waiting nervously are the crews of the Spitfire Mk1 (meant to go up at 2.19), the Hawk T1 (2.31pm), Breitling Wingwalkers (2.41pm). the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (3pm), The Blades (3.22pm), Merlin HC3 (3.39pm) and the Tigers Parachute Display Team (3.45pm).
What are you looking forward to most at Airbourne? Are you upset the Red Arrows are not appearing?
