Missing Eastbourne teen is found dead

A teenager missing from Eastbourne has been found dead.

Carl James Kelly, 18, from St Leonard’s Road, was reported missing by his family after he was last seen leaving a party in Avondale Road at around 6am on Saturday (March 26).

His body was found on a beach in Hastings on Friday.

Police are investigating.

Last night (Sunday), friends of the teenager gathered in Hampden Park and were due to release lanterns in his memory.

No further details have been released.

People have taken to Facebook to pay tribute to Mr Kelly.
